Carnival Dream Assists Stranded Boaters

On Saturday evening while sailing off the coast of Florida, Carnival Dream was alerted by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) that a small craft was experiencing mechanical issues and in need of assistance. Carnival Dream deviated course and lowered one of its lifeboats to bring two Bahamian mariners on board. The two passengers [...]

SOURCES:Captain of Oasis of the Seas was Onboard the Carnival Dream During the ‘Blackout’

Here’s a crazy story. According to one of my sources, the Captain of the Oasis of the Seas (Capt Patrik Dahlgren I believe) was onboard the Carnival Dream when she had the ‘blackout.’ He was enjoying a lunch and then the lights flickered. I had no idea that Captains visited other lines vessels. Pretty cool!

Here is a story our of left field. It turns out that the third installment of the heavily scoffed at Alvin and the Chipmunks series will be taking place on the Carnival Dream.  The series stars Arrested Development’s Tobias Fünke (David Cross). This film looks, just awful. Unfortunately they are cash cows. Below are the [...]

Oasis, meet Dream; Dream, meet Epic; Epic, meet Oasis.

On Tuesday, the three flag ships and largest ships in their rival lines all met in St. Maarten. I am of course referring to the Carnival Dream, Norwegian Epic and the Oasis of the Seas. This unique meet-up was courtesy of Hurricane Igor which rerouted the Dream and Oasis. The totals for that day: 13,000 [...]
