Fire on German Ship in Shipyard

While undergoing a routine drydock in Bremerhaven, Germany, Hapag Lloyd cruises MS Hanseatic suffered an engine room fire. The fire was severe enough that more reparis will be needed. As a result, Hapag Lloyd will have to cancel her two post drydock sailings (June 17 and July 4).

Royal Caribbean has made the decision to cancel the Grandeur’s current cruise. The ship is currently moored in Freeport, Bahamas and RCI will be arranging flights home for all guests tomorrow.
