Yesterday a fuel tank exploded int he port of Gibraltar, Spain. Right next to the tank, the Independence of the Seas. There were 12 passengers that were reported to have had minor injuries. RCI announced today that the Independence of the Seas will be based year-round in Europe. She will sail from Southampton starting in April 2010. It has already been announced that she will sail to Europe for the Summer 2010, RCI is just unveiling the winter 2010 season essentially.
