Now that Norwegian Escape has arrived in her new home, I’m going to end this live blog.

November 8:

NCL has set up their own Periscope account. Periscope is an app, but also usable via a browser, that allows you live broadcast event from your phone. They will be periscoping the christening of the Escape.

November 2:

October 30:

After a brief stop in Southampton for tours and to embark the Transatlantic guests, she is underway across the Atlantic.


 

October 23:

The Escape is still in Germany this morning with tours being given to selected media and guests. If anyone’s interested here’s the Escapes ownership info here it is courtesy of Lloyds:


 

October 22:

Minutes ago, NCL CEO, Frank del Rio, just signed the paper work to official take possession of the Norwegian Escape. Next stop, Southampton, England.

October 21:

Norwegian Escape is almost done in Bremerhaven with her final outfitting. Delivery is scheduled for October 22.


 

October 16:

In case you missed it, the Escape will be christened by Cuban-American rapper Armando Christian Pérez, better known by his stage name Pitbull. Also, the Escape has left drydock in Hamburg and is back in Bremerhaven this morning.


 

October 15:

While in Hamburg, the Escape is making a quick stop in Blohm & Voss Shipyard for some final finishing touches.

October 13:

Today she is in Hamburg Germany after spending the Evening in the English Channel.
