2. Norwegian Cruise Line – Norwegian Aqua✅

The Norwegian Aqua is NCL’s latest addition, featuring a sleek design and space for 3,300 guests. She’s arranged to be a Prima-plus subclass of the popular Prima-class enlarging the design from 142,000gt to 156,000gt. This Fincantieri-built ship will offer Norwegian’s signature freestyle cruising with upgraded dining and entertainment options.
3. MSC Cruises – World America✅

The third ship delivered this year was the World America from MSC Cruises. The massive 215,000gt ship can host up to 5,400 guests. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, it will offer state-of-the-art entertainment and sustainable innovations.
4. Disney Cruise Line – Disney Destiny
Disney fans will love the Disney Destiny, a 144,000-ton ship accommodating 4,000 passengers. Built by Meyer Werft, it will feature Disney’s magical touches, family-friendly activities, and immersive entertainment.
5. SunStone Ships – Douglas Mawson
For adventure seekers, the Douglas Mawson is an 8,000-ton expedition vessel built by China Merchant Industry Holdings. With room for just 180 passengers, it’s perfect for exploring remote destinations in comfort. The ship will go on long-term charter year-round to Aurora Expeditions.
6. Oceania Cruises – Allura

Oceania Cruises’ Allura is a boutique-style ship at 67,000 tons with space for 1,200 guests. Built by Fincantieri, it promises refined luxury with world-class dining and elegant accommodations.
7. Royal Caribbean – Star of the Seas

The largest ship of the year is Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas. At a staggering 250,800 tons and with a capacity for over 5,000 passengers, this Meyer Turku-built vessel will build upon her sistership, Icon of the Seas, in redefining cruising with cutting-edge features and eco-friendly technology.
8. Viking Ocean – Viking Vesta

Viking Ocean Cruises welcomes the Viking Vesta, a smaller luxury vessel at 47,800 tons with room for just 930 guests. By our count, she is the 12th ship in the Viking Ocean fleet. Built by Fincantieri, it focuses on cultural enrichment and destination immersion.
9. Disney Cruise Line – Disney Adventure
Disney’s second new ship of the year is the Disney Adventure. At 208,000 tons and accommodating up to 6,000 passengers, this MV Werften-built ship will deliver larger-than-life experiences for families. This is the former Genting ship that Disney purchased for pennies on the dollar.
10. Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection – Luminara
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection debuts the Luminara, a luxury yacht-style vessel at just 24,000 tons with space for only 298 guests. Built by Barreras, it offers an ultra-exclusive cruising experience.
11. Princess Cruises – Star Princess

The Star Princess is Princess Cruises’ newest gem at 175,000 tons with room for 4,300 passengers. Built by Fincantieri, it will feature Princess’ signature MedallionClass technology for personalized service.
12. NYK Line – Asuka III
NYK Line’s Asuka III is a mid-sized luxury cruise ship at 51,950 tons with capacity for just 744 guests. Built by Meyer Werft, it’s designed to offer an intimate and sophisticated cruising experience.
13. Celebrity Cruises – Celebrity Xcel

Celebrity’s Celebrity Xcel is a sleek new addition at 140,600 tons with room for 2,900 passengers. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, it boasts modern design and eco-friendly features.
14. Four Seasons Yachts – Four Seasons I
Four Seasons enters the cruise market with the Four Seasons I, a luxurious yacht-style vessel at just 34,000 tons with space for only 185 guests. Built by Fincantieri, it promises an unparalleled level of service and sophistication.
15. Virgin Voyages – Brilliant Lady

Virgin Voyages continues its trend of stylish cruising with the Brilliant Lady. This chic ship comes in at 110,000 tons with capacity for 2,860 passengers and offers adults-only cruising with vibrant nightlife and unique dining experiences.
16. Windstar Cruises – Star Seeker
The Star Seeker from Windstar Cruises is an intimate expedition vessel at just 9,300 tons with room for only 200 guests. Built by West Sea – Estaleiros Navais, it’s perfect for exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations.
17. Oceanwide Expeditions – Janssonius
Expedition enthusiasts will love Oceanwide Expeditions’ Janssonius. At just under 5,600 tons and accommodating only 180 passengers, this Brodosplit-built ship is ideal for polar exploration in style.
18. & 19. American Cruise Lines – American Patriot & American Pioneer

American Cruise Lines launches two identical coastal ships this year: the American Patriot and American Pioneer. Each comes in at just over 4,100 tons with space for only 109 guests—perfect for exploring America’s waterways in comfort and style. This represents a new class of ships for ACL.
