Ministers in London, including Mayor Boris Johnson, have assembled the £20 million that the Chinese have reported offered to the current owner Istithmar. Time will tell what Istithmar wants to do. There already is a reported 20 man Chinese crew on her getting her ready to sail.
If brought back to the UK, it will the troublesome finding dock space for the 963ft vessel. I wonder if they are seriously considering putting her on the Thames. Should be good for a laugh when they realize she can’t fit under the London Bridge.
