AIDA Cruises have confirmed that they have finally taken delivery of the AIDAprima. And get this, she’s scheduled to arrive Hamburg earlier than expected. She will do an additional preview cruise.
The much delayed 124,500grt ship is a prototype newbuild for Carnival Corp that will share the design with sister brand Costa.
The Prima’s sistership has now been named AIDAperla. She will be homeported on the island of Mallorca and sail exclusively in the Mediterranean.
The AIDAprima is now in transit from the yard in Japan to Germany.
