Kari Reinikainen of Cruise Business is reporting that the 1984-built Atlantic Star (now renamed Antic) has reached the scrapyard in Turkey. Shipspotting reporters confirm the vessels position. You may recall that this ship was sold by Royal Caribbean to STX as part of the Third Oasis contract. STX has turned around and sold the ship to the scrap yards at a higher price. The above photo is perhaps the last photo we may see of her in one piece.
