Carnival Cruise Lines has just been granted permission to sail to Cuba. Carnival will be sending the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. She will be the highest capacity ship to sail to the island nation. 4 & 5-night cruises are set to begin on June 29, 2017 and bookings are open now. The 4-night cruises will have an overnight visit in Havana and the 5-night will also overnight in Havana plus alternate between Key West and Cozumel.
Carnival Corp was the first in over 40 years to send a cruise ship from a US port to the sanctioned island. They sailed with their fathom brand, however that permit did not extend over to Carnival Cruise Lines. Today’s news allows Canrival Cruise Lines to sail into the Cuban ports.
