Celebrity announced this morning that they made the decision that to cancel the remaining 4 cruises in her Alaska deployment. She’s currently stuck in Ketchikan, Alaska after ending her cruise early yesterday.
Celebrity plans on having her fully repaired and ready to go for her next departure, a 15-night Panama canal cruise from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale on September 22nd.
Royal Caribbean (Celebrity’s parent company) spokesperson:
A mechanical issue has made it necessary to perform unscheduled repairs on Celebrity Millennium. As a result, we have informed guests that we have had to cancel the following sailings: August 23, August 30, September 6 and September 13.
