Crystal Cruises is conducting their keynote presentation right now at Seatrade Cruise Global.
I’ll update this post as it goes:
-CEO Tom Wolber will give the presentation.
-Crystal Symphony just emerged from an extensive drydock. They’re going over a video from the ship hosted by Gene Sloan of USA Today.
-Crystal Serenity will undergo a similar refurb this October. She’ll receive 36 new penthouses and 2 new penthouses.
– The new class of oceangoing ships are called Diamond-class. “This is probably the name that sticks.”
-The Residence concept if introduced will be introduced at a later date.
-On the river side the Crystal Debussy will be handed over any day now.
-The Crystal Esprit is attracting an entirely different clientele. Demographics are skewing even younger than the river cruises.
-Crystal Endeavor will be class 6 Polar vessel. They’re stating it’ll be a game changer.
-The vessel was designed around maximizing the views you can have around the vessel.
-Apparently she’ll also feature dynamic positioning. This is a system that all offshore vessels and drill ships have so they can stay perfectly centered with less than a foot of sway.
And that concludes it. Thanks for following.
