Last night I had tweeted out that I just watched a really bad “CNN Report” on cruise ship captains. I finally found a copy of it. The host of the show, I believe John King, led into the ‘report’ with something like “based on the acts of [Costa Concordia’s Captain], what exactly does it take to be a cruise ship captain?”
Some thoughts:
Do you think it would have come across differently, had they not found the one American cruise ship captain?
Last I had heard Cruise ship captains made well north of $225,000 /yr.
I find it odd, they only interviewed RCL employees.
No offense to Capt. Bill Wright. I have the utmost respect for him and would jump at the opportunity to just talk to him.
CNN: Please have someone check your fact BTW. I’m available!
