Today, Carnival Corp has announced another wave of restructuring within the top levels of the company. It all started back in June with it was announced that Peter Shanks and Carol Marlow were out at the top levels of Carnival UK. Then later in the month, Micky Arison stepped down as CEO of Carnival Corp and appointed Arnold Donald in his place. Here’s his first big shuffling of positions beneath him:
- Howard Frank To Become Special Advisor To The CEO And To The Chairman
- Alan Buckelew To Become Chief Operations Officer Of Carnival Corporation & plc
- Stein Kruse To Become CEO Of The Holland America Group
- Jan Swartz To Become President Of Princess Cruises
The Holland America Group includes Princess, HAL-Princess Alaska, Holland America Line and Seabourn.
UPDATE: Seatrade is reporting:
Effective Dec. 1, [Stein] Kruse also will replace Arison as chairman of the board of MANCO, the UK-based entity that oversees operations of Carnival Australia including P&O Cruises.
