Viking River Cruises, the huge European river line, have now launched their very own “blue-water” line. Viking Ocean Cruises has ordered two, 888-passenger oceangoing ships to be constructed at STX France yards in St. Nazaire. Measuring 750ft LOA, the sisters are scheduled to be completed in spring 2014 and spring 2015. It has been reported that there is an option for a third vessel.
