The original itinerary of Rotterdam or Southampton to Miami has been replaced with Rotterdam/Southampton to New York. The reason; the Norwegian Getaway has been privately chartered from January 29, 2014 to February 5, 2014 for Super Bowl XLVIII.
It will definitely be nice to see her reunited with her sister, Norwegian Breakaway, in NYC on January 31st and February 2nd.

Dear Valued Guest:
We are very excited about the launch of our newest and most innovative ship and are looking forward to sharing this exiting time with you aboard Norwegian Getaway. We’d like to communicate with you some scheduling changes to our inaugural season. Norwegian Getaway has been privately chartered from January 29, 2014 to February 5, 2014 in New York City. As a result the 11-Day Transatlantic from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Miami, Florida that was scheduled to depart on January 16, 2014 has been changed to a 10-Day Transatlantic sailing from Southampton, England to New York City, New York.
Your reservation will be automatically moved to the new 10-Day Transatlantic sailing from Southampton to New York City and your cruise fare will be re-priced to the new lower fare. In addition, should you choose to remain on this sailing we are pleased to provide you with an on-board credit in the amount of $100 per stateroom to be used on any expenditure on the ship (excluding service charges). If you are currently booked in a suite (category codes that begin with S), we are pleased to provide you with a $200 per stateroom on-board credit to be used on any expenditure on the ship (excluding service charges).
If the new departure is not convenient for your vacation, you also have the option to move your reservation to any available sailing in our fleet from now until December 31, 2014 and your cruise fare will be re-priced to the current published fare. This will include a $50 per stateroom on-board credit to be used on any expenditure on the ship (excluding service charges). If you are currently booked in a suite (category codes that begin with S), we are pleased to offer you a $100 per stateroom on-board credit to be used on any expenditure on the ship (excluding service charges).
