Norwegian Cruise Line just announced a change to their summer deployment next year. This may seem last minute but that’s the benefit of a smaller fleet of ships to manage. The biggest highlight is that the Norwegian Sun will reposition to Port Canaveral and offer all-inclusive four day cruises to Havana, Cuba and Key West. She’ll also sail three-day cruises to the Bahamas. NCL’s president Frank Del Rio has stated that the lines other all-inclusive ship, Norwegian Sky, is easily the most profitable ship in the fleet. It comes as no surprise that the Sky’s ‘sister ship’ will also go all-inclusive.
The Sun was originally scheduled to sail Alaska cruises next summer; however, she will be replaced by the Norwegian Jewel. The Jewel will sail the one-way cruises between Seaward, AK and Vancouver, BC, or vice versa.
