P&O just named their new 183,200gt newbuild Iona. Iona is apparently an island in Scotland and also the name of a girl. This will be the third in the highly anticipated Excellence-class. These are the dual fueled (traditional bunkers or LNG) 5,000pax ships. The first two are AIDA Cruises, AIDAnova (2018), and Costa’s Costa Smeralda (2019). P&O’s will debut in 2020.
