You may recall that Royal Caribbean have announced plans to refurb the Liberty of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas to bring them up to Allure in terms of features, and they announced enhancements to the Oasis of the Seas to also bring her up to Allure. Well you can now add in the Radiance of the Seas and Splendour of the Seas. They will all under go massive refurbishments in what RCCL is calling the Royal Advantage, along the same lines as carnival’s Evolutions of Fun upgrades. The Radiance and Splendour drydocks will take place in 2011. Which I guess goes without saying as I just realized that 2010 is almost over.
Radiance of the Seas will enter drydock in mid 2011 and will receive the Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse, Mexican-themed Rita’s Cantina, the Italian Giovanni’s Table, the Park Café deli-style restaurant and lastly the Chef’s Table dining experience. Other than restaurants, a excellent source on onboard revenue by the way, include a new the Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, interactive flat-panel televisions in all staterooms, and Wi-Fi throughout the ship.
Splendour of the Seas will receive two restaurants and the Park Café, the Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, a Diamond and Concierge Lounge, flat-panel televisions in all rooms, and Wi-Fi throughout the ship. The Miami based firm also announced that they will add new balcony staterooms, and update existing staterooms. Other public areas will be done over and the Windjammer Marketplace[buffet restaurant] will also get a make over as well.
